We will confirm your booking:
when a deposit of 25 % of the total cost of your stay has been paid.
The deposit will need to be paid according to the following dates:
In period of festivities:
National, regional or international religious celebrations : 1 month prior to the arrival
Any other time in the year:
(Dates: 7 days beforehand, 7 days afterwards) :15 days prior to the arrival.
If we do not receive all payments due in full and on time, we reserve the right to treat your booking as cancelled and you will not get the possibility to make any claim, unless you can produce a justification to the direction.
When the booking is made (during a period of festivities) 1 or 2 months prior to the arrival, a deposit of 50 % of the total sum of the stay is due at the time of booking.
CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
Should the client need to cancel the booking, the following charges will be payable (according to the price list given below):
Any changes in your booking (during a period of festivities), will be considered as a cancellation and thus some charges will remain payable according to the price list below:
More than 30 days before the agreed date of arrival : 25 % of the total cost of the stay is due.
From 15 to 30 days before the agreed arrival : 50 % of the total cost of the stay is due.
Less than 15 days before the agreed date of arrival: 100 % of the total cost of the stay is due.
Out of a period of festivities:
Less than 4 days: 1 night at the hotel per person
Less than 2 days: 2 nights at the hotel per person
CANCELLATION BY THE HOTEL PORT MORGAN
Should the staff of the hotel need to cancel the booking, they should inform the client by any means of communication at their disposal.
The customer, without claiming any prejudice or damages to the hotel, will be given back the totality of his deposit and the hotel will pay a compensation at least equalling the charges the customer would have been complied to pay in case of cancellation by himself.
The terms and conditions of the above clause do not make an obstacle to find an agreement between both parties aiming to propose to the customer another accommodation which he will accept.
CANCELLATION IN CASE OF FORCE MAJEURE
Should it be impossible to get an acces to the town of the CAYES during the stay of the customer, in case of blocked road in the south and in the direction of the CAYES more than 2 days in a row and in case of the impossibility to use the airport of the CAYES, by means of commercial flights or by means of charters, the customer is immediately given the totality of his deposit without penalty. The customer will thus not be entitled to claim any compensation due to cancellation.
The terms and conditions of the above clause do not make an obstacle to find an agreement between both parties aiming to propose to the customer another accommodation similar to the standard of Port Morgan and that the customer will accept.
YIELDING OF A BOOKING
Port Morgan Hotel informs its customers that he has the possibility to yield his booking under the condition that the yielding happens to correspond to the agreed dates of stay and that the hotelier has been informed of the changes.
CHANGES IN THE PRICE
The price of your holiday is based on the number of nights only regardless the number of days spent at the hotel.
The prices may vary according to the season of the stay and the numbers of customers.
In the event of an early departure or late arrival due to the transports schedule which would shorten your stay, no refunding will be made.
Port Morgan Hotel is not responsible of the independent suppliers which provide services for us, whether it is in the premises of the Hotel or on the outside, especially regarding :
Car rentals, or horse-riding services
Any means of transport (plane, bus, boat shuttle, etc)
